Domain name resolution is a service that directs domain names to web space IPs so that people can easily access websites through registered domain names. An IP address is a digital address that identifies a site on the network. To facilitate memory, a domain name is used instead of an IP address to identify a site address. Domain name resolution is the process of converting a domain name to an IP address. The domain name resolution is done by the DNS server.
Domain name resolution is also called domain name pointing, server settings, domain name configuration, reverse IP registration, and so on. To put it simply, resolve the easy-to-remember domain name into IP, and the service is completed by the DNS server, which resolves the domain name to an IP address, and then binds a subdirectory to the domain name on the host of this IP address. The addresses on the Internet are digital IP addresses. The function of domain name resolution is mainly to facilitate memory.
Common parsing types
1.A record analysis
Select "A" for the record type; record the host IP address provided by the space provider; MX priority does not need to be set; the default TTL setting is 3600.
2. CNAME record analysis
The method of setting the CNAME type resolution is basically the same as that of the A record type, in which the record type is changed to "CNAME", and the record value can be filled in the server host address.
3.MX record analysis
MX record parsing is used for mailbox parsing. Select the record type as MX, and select the line type as universal or add three lines as telecommunications, China Netcom, and Education Network records at the same time. For the record value, fill in the server IP address or alias address provided by the post office. The default TTL setting is 3600. Fill in the data required by the post office provider, or the default 10, when there are multiple MX records, the priority should be set to different data.

Note: Generally speaking, it is only used for websites. It only needs to parse A records to IP. Those with and without WWW can be resolved in the past.
