, known as "Yiling" in ancient times, is a prefecture-level city in Hubei Province. It is located in the southwest of Hubei Province and at the boundary between the upper and middle reaches of the Yangtze River. The name "Yichang" began in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, and the city's organizational system began at the beginning of liberation. A prefecture-level city was established in 1992. The geographical environment of Yichang City is complex and diverse, the terrain is relatively complex, and the heights are very different.
